CREATING HAPPINESS IS A SKILL LIKE SWIMMING

Happiness and Health rise by increasing positive power of the Soul by understanding its voices,

The Soul communicates its unrest through the subconscious mind’s personalities,

Positive frequency of the Soul needs to be accentuated by skill and practice,

Creating Happiness is as skilled an effort as swimming in deep waters is

The human mind is divided into two main parts - the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. Diseases arise from the subconscious mind. Medications work on the principle of activating positive hormones for healing through the subconscious mind.

However, medicines fail to control diseases permanently as most problems repeat themselves. Also, medicines have several side effects which can be avoided by directly accessing the subconscious mind.

To heal the body through emotional management, logical skills of energy processing are used to heal diseases by learning how to automatically control the energy of instructions going to the subconscious mind.

We need to start understanding the subconscious mind to learn how to control it. This chapter explains how the subconscious mind works .

The subconscious mind is distinguished from the conscious mind by the degree of awareness. Whenever we use our mind for focusing or learning or reasoning or analyzing, with conscious awareness of what we are processing, it is the conscious mind we are using. However, the functioning of organs, blood flow in the body, pumping of the heart beat etc. are being managed by the subconscious mind silently while we are focused on the conscious mind.

The conscious mind makes up for about 10% of the total mind. The remaining 90% of the mind is called the subconscious mind.

The conscious mind  is the rational, reasoning, analytical mind. It is the mind as we are aware of in the here and now. It includes all our conscious processes. For example, at this moment, you are consciously aware that you are reading about emotional management, and you are aware that you are curious about what this concept entails. But you are not aware of how your breathing is being synchronized in your body, how your blood pressure is being maintained, how your body is being balanced in the position that you are sitting or standing in. You are not paying much attention to the touch of shoes on your feet, of how your clothes feel on your body, or how your emotional state has been since morning. All this that you are not aware of, at the moment, is being handled by the subconscious mind.

Learning Task 1- Developing Awareness of the Functioning of the Subconscious Mind

Write down or list five functions the subconscious mind is taking care of while you are reading this page. E.g. breathing, digesting food, maintaining blood pressure etc.

The conscious mind can effectively focus on the task at hand, because the subconscious mind takes care of the rest of the body’s functioning. To help the body function in a healthy manner and find happiness with everyday choices, it is necessary to understand and control the instructions on which the subconscious mind operates the body.

Impact of the Subconscious Mind in Everyday Life

Metaphorically, the subconscious mind is like the hard disk of the computer or the engine of the car whereas the conscious mind is the computer operator or the driver of the car. The efficiency of the computer operator depends to a large extent on the kind of data stored in the hard disk. If the hard disk is old and redundant, the computer cannot function at its optimal, however hard the operator tries.

Similarly, the car driver needs a good engine to be able to drive the car smoothly. If the car is not running smoothly, the driver first needs to check the engine rather than his driving abilities

Past life therapy is an advanced form of therapy applied after all these basic skills as it produces much deeper healing results for those who can believe their own subconscious narratives.
